I played a lot of machines and they were all the same. The usual canned response of machines having certain elements of luck, bunch of bs. I spent 2k with little to no bonus rounds. So you cut smoking to improve the health and safety of others but now you allow people to sit next to one another with no social distancing. There was definitely not 6 foot distance. During the course of my time spent there, I had multiple people come and sit next to me. Now that they cut smoking, all of the slot machines are turned on and chairs are at every machine. You can also smoke in front of the hotel entrance. They have a tent out front that is not heated for smoking. Or all the people that didn't know, Mystic no longer allows smoking in the casino. If you don’t believe me read many of the other reviews posted here. Even with this huge monetary advantage they still somehow have very poor slot payouts.

Remember that on top of the money they take from everyone they pay no corporate income taxes. When you have spent the kind of money I have at Mystic Lake and you continually lose and/or watch low bettors win you reach a point where you say enough is enough. Any other casino in Minnesota (except for their sister casino Little 6) is a much better choice and I guarantee you will have better odds of winning. If you must gamble (like me) do yourself a favor and visit another casino. They run their own show and their only desire is to separate you from your money (like most casinos I suppose). They will tell you that they are highly regulated but they are not. The bottom line is that Mystic Lake is a rigged casino. Their promotions are cheap and their customer loyalty rewards are laughable or nonexistent. Also, there is virtually no security at the casino and on numerous occasions I have been hit up for money by various riff-raff in the High Limit area. These bettors win the vast majority of jackpots while bettors like me essentially fund them. Their High Limit slots area even caters to the $5 or less bettor. I was told that slot machines are completely random. Then if you lower your bet near the minimum the bonus symbols magically return. In fact when you bet high on slots the machine’s bonus symbols will mysteriously disappear. The higher you bet the less chance you have of ever getting a bonus on a machine.

Their slot machines (even the ones in the High Limit area) are rigged for low bettors. If you are a high bettor like me stay away. If you like to bet $1 or less on slot machines you will probably have an okay time.
